Cleveland Community Christian Athletics is an athletic site for student-athletes on various levels which are seeking to develop their academic and athletic skills.  Our teams compete with highly competitive junior college, 4 year college JVs, post-grad and college club teams.  The Athletic Program provides athletes with academic support and a year round athletic training atmosphere coached by expert staff with years of collegiate and professional experience. Allowing the perfect balance of academics and athletics.

CCA is structured for players who wish to be seen by 4 year college coaches and potentially offered a scholarship.  Academically many players attend Community Christian College who need to earn college credits to become NCAA eligible.  Our staff provides relentless academic support.  Graduates of our academic and athletic programs often receive athletic scholarships to NCAA Division I and II Colleges and Universities to complete their 4 year college degree.     Also students who want to become a personal trainer, strength coach, sports coach, sports agent, media or any other career in sports is available.

STUDY HALL

Study Hall is a time where students have structured study and academic support.  Every student below a 2.5 is required to attend at least 3 hours a week.

CCA will assist in scheduling Official and Unofficial visits as a great way for student-athletes to

CCA markets students to obtain scholarships by scheduling Official and Unofficial  with 4 year college coaches.

SPORTS PERFORMANCE TRAINING

Our  Sports  Performance training program is training of the mind and body through speed, agility, strength, explosion and position specific drills to enhance the athlete's performance for a specific sport.

ATHLETIC COST AND FEES

 

ATHLETIC FEES - A PRACTICE MOST COLLEGES  AND UNIVERSITIES USE TO FUND ATHLETIC PROGRAMS. FINANCIAL AID CAN BE USED TO PAY FEE IF YOU QUALIFY.


FEES ARE (Non-Refundable) 

The staff commits relentless effort into processing student-athlete's information to prepare for the program.   The Athletic Programs spend funds to operate the program to give student-athletes the opportunity to compete on the college level.

$30 Application Fee and $30 Monthly Membership Fee

TRANSPORTATION FEE

$40 per week for those needing transportation.

HOUSING DEPOSIT

Deposit for housing will range from $300 - $700 plus first month rent per student-athlete.  CCA is not responsible for housing.

INSURANCE

You MUST provide your own health insurance. Please bring a photo copy of both the front and back. Card MUST show the student's name. The cost of insurance will be your responsibility.

Q & A

Q. Are CCA locations NCJAA?

A. NO we are independent college programs   a part of the NIAA.


Q. Does JUCO mean you are a part of or stands for NJCAA?

A. NO, JUCO is the acronym for Junior College. CCA programs are Junior College athletic programs.


Q. Can you go D1 or D2 from here?

A. YES pending on your Game Film and GRADES.


Q. Does Community Christian provide housing ?

A. NO HOUSING The Community Christian Athletic Department does not provide housing for prospective student-athletes. The student-athlete is responsible for housing expenses.  FAFSA may be used if you qualify.


Q. Are there refunds for Athletic Fee?

A. NO REFUNDS.  The time spent investing to prepare student-athletes for coming to our program and academics isn't refundable. The same dedication and commitment we provide the student-athlete we expect the same for the student-athlete to have towards the program.  Once you are in you must finish.


Q. How much does it cost to participate in the athletic program.

A. It cost $1500 to participate in athletics and you can use FAFSA to pay for it if you qualify.


Q. What do I need to be eligible?
A. High School Diploma or GED. Be a full-time student at Community Christian College taking 18 credit hours.  Maintain a 2.5 GPA


Q. I am a transfer student athlete from a community college (or from a 4 year university). What do I need to be eligible?
A. If you participated in intercollegiate athletics at either a community college or any 4 year university, you will need to complete 24 units total,  you will be only allowed one more season of competition at a community college if you already competed one year in college.


Q. Do I need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center?
A. Yes. If you are planning to transfer to a Division I or Division II institution, as a student athlete, you must register with the NCAA Eligibility Center.


Q. Does Community Christian College have a campus in SC or NC?
A. NO CAMPUS. We have testing and career centers.
